• How do I pay by credit card?

If paying by credit card then you need to advise of this at the time of booking. Once you are collected by one of our chauffeurs they will call our offices direct handsfree and allow you to personally relay your card details direct to our account manager. These will then be securely profiled so that if you travel with us again we will already have your card details for processing. However if you would prefer you can call our offices prior to your transfer or you can email your card details. EAC operate a dedicated, encrypted mail server. Once we apply your card details we have no physical access to them. (Please refer to our PCI DSS compliance)

  • I want to pay by credit card or open a card account how can I be sure that all my card details will be safe?

EAC are fully PCI DSS Compliant to Level 4 status.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a proprietary information security standard for organizations that handle branded credit cards from the major card schemes including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB. The PCI Standard is mandated and administered by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. The standard was created to increase controls around cardholder data to reduce credit card fraud. Validation of compliance is performed annually by an external Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) or by a firm specific Internal Security Assessor (ISA) that creates a Report on Compliance (ROC) for organizations handling card transactions

The purpose of such accreditation is to:

Build and maintain a secure network
    Protect cardholder data
    Maintain a vulnerability management program
    Implement strong access control measures
    Regularly monitor and test networks
    Maintain an information security policy
For a supplier managing card payments they may be liable for non-compliance fines if they do not work towards compliance with their acquirer and ultimately the acquirer may be forced to terminate any relationship, which will prevent the supplier from accepting payments by card.

Customers’ data may also be at risk of compromise and subject to fraudulent use. Fraudsters target the weak links in the payment chain to steal payment data (card numbers and card security codes) and customer’s personal information (names, addresses, phone numbers, email, etc.) for the purpose of committing fraud.

As well as the breach in security and the potential associated data risk to the customer there are considerable fines associated with non-compliance following a data compromise; these can range from ten to hundreds of thousands of pounds. Many non-compliant merchants have ceased trading because the fines could not be accommodated. The fines are passed from the Card Scheme to the acquirer and then onto the merchant.

  • Will I receive a receipt?

Whether payment is by credit card or cash as long as we have an email address for you – or for whoever has booked on your behalf – a receipt will be automatically emailed within 24hrs of any payment being processed. The receipt will provide a full break down of your journey details including the date, time and any additional charges. It will not include any card details.

  • I want to be met outside the terminal as I don’t wish to pay the parking charges

Without exception all clients/passengers will be met inside the terminals at all Airports – this does not levy any additional costs apart from those listed in general.

All airports – especially Heathrow – dictate that the areas outside of their terminals are for drop off only and meeting and collecting passengers outside any of these terminals carries with it substantial fines for the driver and potential revocation of any operator’s licence.

  • Can EAC provide me with a child seat for my baby/youngster?

Can EAC provide me with a child seat for my baby/youngster?

Yes we can – In line with revised legislation that was passed on 1st April 2017 we are able to provide a car seat for those that are travelling with toddlers/youngsters.

In line with this legislation the seat is a High Backed Booster which complies to current ECE.R44/04 legislation and would be suitable for all children 15-36kgs.

All drivers have been fully briefed on the usage of this seat however, as the parent it is still your responsibility to ensure that your child is seated securely and correctly*

If you would prefer to supply your own child seat then we are also more than happy to retain this in our secure offices for your return.
