Q.2 I want to pay by credit card or open a card account.
How can I be sure that all my card details will be safe?

A Chauffeurs is fully compliant with PCI DSS to Level 4 status.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a proprietary information security standard for organizations that handle branded credit cards from the major card schemes including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB. The PCI Standard is mandated and administered by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. The standard was created to increase controls around cardholder data to reduce credit card fraud. Validation of compliance is performed annually by an external Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) or by a firm specific Internal Security Assessor (ISA) that creates a Report on Compliance (ROC) for organizations handling card transactions

The purpose of such accreditation is to:

  • Build and maintain a secure network
  • Protect cardholder data
  • Maintain a vulnerability management programme
  • Implement strong access control measures
  • Regularly monitor and test networks
  • Maintain an information security policy

Q.3 How do I pay by credit card?

Card details must be provided PRIOR to any trasnsfer that is to be settled by a valid credit/debit card. Once you have made a booking you will receive a secure link that will enable the booker/passenger to provide card details in a fully secure and encrypted environment. Once the transfer/s have been fully completed our system will issue an invoice, payment will be processed and a full tax receipt will be produced and emailed. This establishes an efficent, robust and timely process for all concerned. Your card details can then be applied to your profile for any future bookings unless otherwise advised. All card payment are subject to a 3% card processing fee. This is to cover transaction costs so that we are able to accept all major credit and debit cards including Amex,

Q.6 I would like to be met outside the terminal as I don’t wish to pay the airport parking charges.

Without exception all clients/passengers will be met inside the terminals at all airports – this does not levy any additional costs apart from those listed in general.
All airports – especially Heathrow – dictate that the areas outside of their terminals are for drop-off only and meeting and collecting passengers outside any of these terminals carries with it substantial fines for the driver and potential revocation of any operator’s licence.
